There are a few different settings for Spaceflight Simulator, as you can switch difficulty from normal, hard, or even realistic, and there are keyboard settings as well as graphic settings as well to bolster or optimize your gameplay. I had a lot of fun exploring the outer space regions. However, with practice and careful tuning, more of my rockets could lift off and reach outer space. I noticed that many times I was unable to lift off, as rockets needed precise timing and parts to lift off. I eventually got to the Moon, but then I went back to the building screen to test out new rocket parts and customization. However, piloting and flying the rocket into outer space was a lot of excitement and fun as my first mission was trying to reach the moon from Earth. I felt that the keyboard controls were a bit difficult to get used to at first, as many buttons and options were there, which felt a bit overwhelming. For me, at least, I quickly made a basic rocket first to test out the launching site.Īt the launching site, you are given the option to fully control your rocket, parachute, and also steer the rocket’s direction to anywhere you want. I felt like many hours and careful planning could be spent just trying to make the optimal rocket that would be able to blast off into distant planets yet unknown. I immediately started glancing at all the various different options for rockets, boosters, and even parachutes. For newcomers, there are a few videos and already made blueprints if you aren’t that experienced with the genre. The feeling I got when first opening the game up was one of exploration and fun, but also calculation and measured relaxation as the title screen goes into the building screen, where you are about to build your rockets following your own blueprint.
